Atlantic City Blackjack Review

Atlantic City Blackjack is actually very similar to that of the original blackjack game. But there are slight differences.

The first thing you should notice is that Atlantic City Blackjack is played with 8 regular decks of playing cards, and is an american hole card game. This means that unlike european blackjack where the dealer only has one card at the beginning of the game, which means he cannot check for Blackjack.

So if you doubled and then the dealer has blackjack you would lose. But in Atlantic City Blackjack the dealer has two cards. One face up the other face down.

This of course means that if the face up card has a value of 10 or an ace the dealer will check to see if he has blackjack. If yes, then its instantly over. This means that you have less chance to lose a large amount of money.

The Basic Rules

* American Hole Card Game
* Dealer Peeks on 10 value Cards and Aces
* Played with 8 Regular Decks of Cards.
* Dealer must stand on all 17
* Double down on any two cards
* Double Down after Split
* Split 3 times to make 4 hands
* Aces can only be split once
* Only one card to split Aces
* Split Ace and 10 count as 21 and not BJ
* Unlike 10 value cards can be split
* Late Surrender is allowed
