What is European Roulette?
All roulette games are a game of chance. There's no skill involved at all. But European online roulette offers you better odds of winning and it's down to a simple factor.

The European Roulette wheel has 37 pockets, a single zero (0) and the numbers 1 through 36. Each number is colored red or black except for the zero, which is green. The wheel also differs from the American Roulette wheel which has both a single zero and a double zero for a total of 38 pockets.

Hence the the odds of winning at roulette are better in the European game since the probability of hitting your number is 1 out of 37 instead of 1 out of 38.

European Roulette is the most commonly played of the roulette types available.

There are two main categories of roulette bets. Inside bets are bets on a single number, or on a small group of two, three, four, or six numbers.

How You Win At European Roulette
You win at European Roulette if the winning roulette number, as determined by the spin of the roulette wheel matches a number that you have bet on. The biggest roulette payout happens if you bet on a single number and that number wins.

The smallest payout is when you bet on a group of eighteen numbers such as all the even numbers or all the black numbers, and the winning roulette number is one of the numbers within that group.
