French Roulette - Guide To Winning Online

French Online Roulette Guide

What is French Roulette?
French Roulette is essentially the same game as its cousins European and American. However there are some subtle differences which for committed players can make it distinct and in some ways even superior.

The first thing you'll notice about this version of roulette is that the numbers are all the same color. The color on the table can vary according to the casino, but even if its say red, then all the numbers will be red.

Another feature you might notice is that the French roulette table is in French. But, in any event, there is no need to worry about the French roulette terms.

French Roulette Advantages
The French roulette table has, like its European cousin only one zero (0) which makes it more advantageous than say the American version. However there are some added differences even from European Roulette which make it even more advantageous still.

To start with the French roulette game has a special and unique rule called La Partage. The La Partage roulette rule states that if you make an even money bet, and the roulette ball lands on zero, you lose only half your bet. A rule that rule provides a quite a significant statistical advantage to the player.

French Roulette Bets
The basic bets in this game are the same as in other version but this version has bet types all of its own called Call Bets. Here's what they're called and how they work.

Voisins du Zero (Neighbors of Zero): A bet on the seventeen numbers that surround the 0 on the French roulette wheel: 0, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29, 32, and 35

Tiers du Cylindre (Third of the Wheel): A bet on the twelve numbers that are situated on the opposite side of the wheel from the 0: 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30, and 33.

Orphelins (Orphans): A bet on the eight remaining roulette numbers that are not included in either the Voisins or the Tiers: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31, and 34.

Finales en Plein: This is a bet on all numbers ending in a particular digit. For example, Finales en Plein 3 is a bet on 3, 13, 23, and 33.

Finales a Cheval: This is a bet on all numbers ending in either of two digits. For example, Finales a Cheval 2/5 is a bet on 2, 5, 12, 15, 22, 25, 32, and 35.
